Privacy Policy
We do not create user accounts, serve ads, or use third-party analytics.

Your events and settings are stored on your device.
Android system backup follows your device settings.
Ticsee (package name net.makeagoodsoup.ticsee) is developed by Make a Good Soup. Its core features run on your Android device. We do not operate a server that receives personal data, and we do not sell user data. This policy applies to the Ticsee app and this website.

Data we process and why
To provide features you choose to use, Ticsee stores only three categories of data in the app's private storage:
- Personal settings and event content: your name, avatar, birthday, planning horizon, and event titles, dates, and images you add.
- App and reminder settings: first day of the week, onboarding progress, widget settings, reminder times, and records of reminders already sent to prevent duplicates.
- Temporary share images: images placed temporarily in the cache when you create a share card.
This data is used only on your device to provide the life calendar, time progress, countdown, and reminder features. We do not build advertising profiles, track you across apps, or collect phone numbers, email addresses, advertising identifiers, or precise location.

Connections, backups, and sharing
Ticsee connects to load this website only when you open this privacy policy in the app. The website has no analytics or advertising trackers. See the hosting provider's GitHub General Privacy Statement.
If Android system backup is enabled, app data may be backed up to your Google Account. Your device settings control this; we cannot access the backup, and you can turn it off at any time.
A share card is sent to the app you select only after you choose to share it. That service's own privacy policy then applies.

Android system permissions
Ticsee uses only the following three permissions. It does not request access to contacts, location, microphone, or camera.

Data retention and deletion
- App data remains on your device until you delete content, clear app data, or uninstall Ticsee.
- Temporary share images are stored in cache and are removed by the system or app when no longer needed.
- Your Google Account and device settings manage the retention and deletion of system backup copies.
Because we have no server or account system, we cannot remotely retrieve or delete data on your device or in your backup.

Security and children's privacy
Data is stored in the app's private storage, which other apps generally cannot read directly. Actual security also depends on your device lock, backup settings, and the people or services you share with.
Ticsee is not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal data. Contact us below if you have a related concern.

Policy updates and contact
When features, permissions, or data practices change, we will update this page and its last-updated date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release information.
If translations differ, the Traditional Chinese version of this policy controls.
